The appartment is located in the middle of a green garden, close to a forest that is close to the beach. We had no car, but that was no problem: There is a Bus Station nearby that brings you to the historic center of otranto nearly every hour. We also got bikes for free! The room was really clean, big and comfortable with garden view. The breakfast was served in the middle of the garden. Fresh homemade stuff and daily changing plates! Marina and her team is really friendly and polite!!

Fabio, the owner, is absolutly amazing as is his work associate Lilli! Both speak english extremely well! Lilli gave us maps and suggestions for things to visit in the area. Fabio and his wife built the agriturismo and did an excellent job in the landscape design of the common area. The lighting is beautiful everywhere - even the details in the room. (There is a mood light on the perimiter of the bed ). The infinity pool is beautiful. We were so busy we only enjoyed it during meals but did not swim in it. Our first night we had an amazing dinner and Fabio acutually served us. It was so interesting learning about the agriturismo, his past work and retirement. I highly recommend staying at this agriturismo. A highlight of our trip was venturing south and renting a boat (with a driver) & going to the Adriatic and Ionian sea. We swam in both, the water was spectacular and it cost 60 Euros for 3 hours! I appreciated the fact that there were mosquitoes nets in the room. We did not see a lot of mosquitoes during our stay but it was appreciated knowing if they were around we would not be bothered at night.

It was great to stay on a rural property and have a private cabin - a nice change from city stays. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The surrounding gardens were lovely with lounges and a swinging chair. We liked eating at the outside table. The included breakfast, also taken in the gardens, was delicious and plentiful.
